Read and order numbers up to 1,000,000 
eg: 698,999     543,206      700,881 
reorder to 543,206      698,999       700,881
 

Say the number 10, 100 and 1000 more and less within numbers up to 1,000,000
eg: 629, 109: 10 more is 629, 119    
eg: 629, 109 100 more is 629, 209
eg: 629, 109 1000 more is 630, 109

Know groupings of 10s and 100s in a 4 digit number
eg:  4300 = 430 tens         6100 = 61 hundreds


Round decimals to the nearest whole number
eg: 2.58 à 3                   1.48 à 1 

Instantly answer addition and subtraction questions about numbers up to 20
eg: 13+?=19          17-?=8



Measure choosing the appropriate standard unit measurement eg:
If you know the large container is full when it has a 250ml jug is emptied into it 4 times, what is the capacity of the container?

Use simple co-ordinates and 8 points of the compass eg:
The treasure is in G5. To get to the tree travel South East.




Order the likelihoods of outcomes for simple situations involving chance, experimenting or listing all possible outcomes eg:
