Students will mostly be able to:

Count forwards and backwards by thousandths, hundredths, tenths, ones,tens etc.

 eg: 1.2   1.3   1.4    1.5 ...
eg: 6.43    6.42    6.41   6:40 ...

Order decimals to 3 decimal places
eg: 0.8    0.126    0.48    0.379 reorders to 0.126   0.379    0.48    0.8
 
       

Round whole numbers and decimals to nearest whole number or one-tenth 

eg: 0:47 → 0.5 (nearest tenth)
eg: 6:49 → 6.5 (tenths) 

Instantly answer multiplication and division questions about times tables up to 10 
eg: 8 x ? = 56     7x 8 = ?      56 ÷ ? = 7,     1/8 of 56 = ?     1/7 of ? = 8
 
Know square numbers to 100 and the corresponding square root 
eg: 722 = 49     √49 = 7

Make simple conversions between units, using whole numbers eg:
