Nicole Allington

My name is Nicole Allington and I have called Green Bay home for the last 10 years. Our son started Green Bay Primary this year and our daughter will start in 2022. My husband is a school teacher and holds a management position at a large West Auckland high school.

For the last 20 years I have worked in the aviation and travel industry and held a number of different roles including sustainability, product management, product development, communications, marketing, procurement, sourcing and supplier relationship management.

I am interested in being part of the board of Green Bay Primary as I have a real interest in ensuring all students achieve in their education journey and as a board to take responsibility that we are providing all students, their families and staff with a variety of tools, support and experiences to achieve this. Not all students are necessary suited to the traditional academic path and we need to have resources available for a variety of interests and skills.

Through my extensive corporate career, I am used to developing and delivering on the vision and strategic plan, providing governance, policy development and implementation, continuous improvement, and commercial negotiations. All of these skills will assist with core responsibilities of the board.

Green Bay Primary is the centre of the wonderful Green Bay community. I would welcome the opportunity to be part of the board to support the ongoing success of school and to make sure we give our students the best foundation to succeed.

Regards Nicole
