As part of EcoFest (22nd March - 22nd April), we are running a 'Design Your Dream Bike' competition. This is a fun activity which encourages kids to think about sustainable transport in a creative way.
To enter the competition participants must bring their design into their local EcoMatters Bike Hub. This is so that kids and their family visit their local hub and get more comfortable with it. Their visit may inspire them to get cycling, and to have fun as a family on bikes.
Prizes are awarded for the 'most creative, wild, and delightful' designs, and the grand prize is a refurbished kids bike 😄

Titirangi Fire Station
Will be hosting a Station Open Day on Saturday, 21 March, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, and we would greatly appreciate it if you could share this invitation with your school community.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students and their families to visit the station, meet their local firefighters, explore the fire engines up close, and learn more about fire safety in a fun and interactive way. There will be plenty to see and do, making it an exciting outing for children and families alike. Everyone is welcome, and there’s no need to register—families can simply drop in anytime between 10:00am and 1:00pm.
Thank you for helping us spread the word and for supporting our efforts to promote fire safety awareness within the local community. Opportunities like this help families and children learn important fire safety messages that can make a real difference in keeping everyone safe.
