2023 Students from Green Bay Primary and Intermediate School have been involved in the Keep NZ Beautiful initiative ‘Young reporters for the environment’ where they need to find an environmental issue related to rubbish and report on it through a chosen media of either article, photo, photo story or film. All entries have been created by Year 7 students (11 years old).

The photo story is about how much rubbish can be found and picked up by a small group of young students in 2 hours going along one street towards one beach.
