Kapa Haka
Kia ora koutou,
Te Kapa Haka o Motu Karaka (the original name for Green Bay) is an integral part of the school.
We are thankful to have the expertise of Mātua Jarrod who teaches Te Reo Māori on a Wednesday and trains our Kapa haka group in the afternoon.
The Kapa Haka group is open to our Year 4-8 students. The highlight of each year is performing at the Eden Albert Festival. We ask that the kids put in the extra time at home to learn the words and actions for each of the songs.
